The mission at Livitup, Inc is to advance the independence and productivity of children and adults with various types of disabilities. The money raised through the Elvis 5k helps support Camp Livitup and other programs we offer in the community.

LivItUp, Inc. works to affect positively the quality of life for all persons disabilities, and the families.

They believe that all people with disabilities have a fundamental right to the opportunity to participate in lifestyles that enable them to live in their own community; to receive an education that prepares them for employment, and the opportunity to live and grow within their family. They believe that our advocacy and service efforts must be truly family centered, rather than focused exclusively on the individual

Since their founding in 1980, they have been committed to change and progress for persons with disabilities. They strive to ensure the inclusion of persons with disabilities in every facet of society—from the Web to the workplace, from the classroom to the community. They measure success through our ability to advance the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people with disabilities.

While their specific programs and services have changed over the years, their singular focus remains unchanged. From small programs targeting a handful of participants they have grown into a multifaceted organization driven by strategic partnerships with government, corporate, and non-profit allies.
